Job Description:
In your position as a Senior Consultant, you will have substantial technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating assignments, including serving as team lead with the responsibility of entry-level team members. You will perform a variety of tasks that require both practical experience and theoretical, state-of-the-art, technical knowledge in a specialty area. Additionally, you will assist other senior staff with the analysis, evaluation, and preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in integrated financial management and enterprise operational improvement. You will help to facilitate client meetings as well as have an in-depth understanding of the overall purpose and objectives of a project and its task assignments. You must be able to make decisions that demonstrate sound judgment in anticipating and solving problems. You will also:
- Independently analyze program requirements and information from multiple sources, uses judgment and discretion where information and/or data conflicts to develop and implement actionable solutions in support of program requirements
- Research federal and private programs for assigned areas, research governing policies and regulations, and develop compliant programs in response to management initiatives
- Independently develop technical program materials that are clear, logical, and succinct to include, briefings, white papers, presentations, and reports for a range of audiences.
- Plan and conduct studies or reviews and special projects on assigned program operations and develop strategic and innovation methodologies to improve program operations and overall program execution
- Write statements of work, performance work statements, and statements of objectives after meeting with customers to solicit their input on their requirements
- Have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, present technical program information, and provide expert responses to impromptu questions and situations, as required
- Develop analysis, summary documents, and/or reports as requested
- Prepare correspondence, briefing materials, statistical reports, spreadsheets, and other narrative material in support of various business programs and initiatives, ensuring compliance with the Secretarial Correspondence Handbook (382 DM5)
- Coordinate with personnel as required to research, develop, and prepare alerts, documents, briefings, summaries, reports, charts, graphs, and white papers for senior leadership to use in meetings, briefings, and other functions
- Support IBC AQD engagement efforts by drafting materials, providing logistical support and schedule coordination, and meeting facilitation in support of a variety of meetings, briefings, trainings, and/or conference seminars
- Have the ability to apply Microsoft O365, Microsoft OneDrive, and Adobe technical skills to assist with the development, storage, and publishing of fillable PDFs, SharePoint Forms, PowerPoints, Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents to create, enhance, or revise checklists, memos, work instructions, reference materials, graphics, templates, and other forms as requested to support IBC AQD programs and initiatives
- Assist in supporting other project deliverables as requested.
Required Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Project Management
- Minimum 7 years of related experience
- Bachelors Degree
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or higher
Desired Skills:
- Prior administrative support experience
- Has worked closely with senior leadership and staff
