Job Description:
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's leadership with both strategic-level thinking and tactical execution. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the CEO's calendar with a strategic perspective, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Providing tactical support to the CEO to include note-taking, inbox management, ghostwriting, and maintaining a keen understanding of the organization's strategic direction.
- Developing presentations that reflect the strategic vision of the company, supporting the CEO in conveying key messages effectively.
- Handling expense reporting and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Facilitating meetings by preparing agendas, materials, and pre-meeting documentation, and taking detailed notes to capture strategic insights and action items.
- Assisting the CEO and Senior Leadership Team with special projects and initiatives aimed at driving the achievement of company strategic goals, contributing your strategic thinking and tactical expertise.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience supporting an executive (CEO/CFO) in government contracting
- Desired experience with fast-growing small business
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Teams and Planner
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable presenting information to a group
- Must be tactful, professional
- Experience with screening and prioritizing correspondence (email, phone calls) and tasks aligned with strategic/executive objectives in a timely manner
- Ability to anticipate the needs of the CEO to proactively address logistical/administrative requirements to facilitate productive meetings
- Ability to think and prioritize tasks strategically to support the CEO in achieving company goals
- Proven track record of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
